IMPORTANT:  HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO--    PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND THE FINAL PUBLIC HEARING IN RICHMOND, ON MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2008, AND DEMONSTRATE YOUR SUPPORT.

If you haven’t spoken yet, before the State Corporation Commission (SCC), please plan to attend and speak.  If you’ve already entered testimony or have spoken at an SCC public hearing, then please plan on attending and lending your support. Location:  SCC Second Floor Courtroom, Tyler Building, 1300 East Main Street, Richmond.  The hearing will begin at 9 a.m.  

Timeline, following the public hearing on Jan. 14, the SCC evidentiary hearing for the applications will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 25. Also in the SCC Courtroom.  The public may view… (pick up paragraph of copy currently on Web site).  

Send letters to your officials:  Please let Governor Kaine, Attorney General McDonnell, Senators Tom Davis and Frank Wolf know that you appreciate their fight and continuing support in defeating the Dominion Power Towers.   E-mail Senator Webb and Virginia State Senators and encourage them to fight Dominion, and let Secretary of Energy Sam Bodman know that the NIETC designation isn’t right, and that it violates property rights, discourages development of new technologies and energy conservation.
